Neopets shrooms are usually quite expensive, and can change your neopet in many ways. It is up to you to decide if they are worth it. The following are all the neopets shrooms and their effects:

Purple Spotted Shroom	Heals 3 hitpoints, increases hitpoints by 1, OR increases strength by 1.
Yellow Healthshroom	Heals 15 hitpoint. Cures any disease. Can be taken in Battledome!
Super Fast Shroom	Increase movement by 1-3 points.
Strength Shroom	Increase strength by 1-3 points.
Mega Power Plusshroom	Increase random stats!
Level Up Shroom	Gain 1 Level
Green Toadstool	Heals 3 hitpoints.
Green Healthshroom	Heals 11 hitpoints.
Blue Healthshroom	Heals 1 hitpoint.
Bad Toadstool	Decreases happiness and hitpoints.
