The Neopian Employment Agency, located in Faerieland, is a great place for unemployed neopets to find jobs. While the saying "it takes money to make money" applies with the Faerieland Employment Agency, the agency is a great way to make a few extra neopoints! Are you ready to make your neopet happy and build that resume? Then let's get started!

Some Basic Info

Before you start frollicking toward the Employment Agency, there are a few key things you should know:

• The Neopets Employment Agency finds new jobs for neopians every 10 minutes. So search for jobs at :00 :10 :20 :30 :40 and :50. Please do not be late, as jobs are usually gone in about 30 seconds. Remember, you are competing with many unemployed neopians!
• Some jobs will give you 2 minutes to complete them, and some will give you 2 hours. It really just depends on the job. If you have a super fast internet connection, you will be able to choose between these jobs. If you are like me with a medium/fast or slow internet connection, you will need to click blindly! Don't worry, you can finish those 2 minute jobs! In fact, most jobs can be completed in 30-40 seconds, with the right tools.
• You can only complete 5 jobs for the Employment Agency a day. Be fair to the other neopians!
• Jobs that are completed faster will earn more than jobs completed slower. Be efficient. Learn to be fast and you will reap the rewards.

A Note On Coupons

In my humble opinion, job coupons are worth absolutely nothing. You pay 50k-200k for a coupon to get a job. You still haven't done the job! You could lose thousands of neopoints, even hundreds of thousands! Take my advice: don't waste your money. However, this is a semi-free neopian country, so here is a list of job coupons in order from highest to lowest. When you use a coupon, it downgrades to the next lower coupon.

Finding and Completing a Job

First, always have the Shop Wizard open in another tab or window.



Finding a job in the Agency is easier than it seems. You may not get it the first or second try, but eventually your fingers will go on autopilot and you will figure it out. First, wait for the minute before a restock (i.e. :09 or :19, the like.) Then, go the the Employment Agency (link above) and wait until the clock says hour:minute:59 and click "Basic Jobs". Then, click on the link (its on the right column) for the first job you see. If you get it it will say "You got the job!", if you don't, simply go back to the Basic Jobs screen and try again. If you aren't sure you got the job, click the "Status" link.

If you got the job, copy and paste what the job requires in the shop wizard window (make sure to take of the "s" at the end for multiples. Don't type in Pink Doughnuts, instead type Pink Doughnut.) Make sure to remember how many of that item you need to buy, then buy them as fast as you can. Go back to the job screen and hit "Click Here" or whatever it says to complete the job, and voila! You are finished! If you did it fast enough, you will get this awesome screenie:

Conclusion

While Neopian Employment isn't a way to make thousands and thousands of neopoints, it can certainly help the low-income neopians, and even get you ranked! With time and patience, you will finish those jobs!
